TRICOM is currently implementing a quality system in accordance with the relevant ISO standard. A full time quality manager has been employed to oversee this process, which is driven by the TRICOM QUALITY MANUAL.
Emphasis is placed on full traceability of product through out the production process to ensure that a quality product is delivered on time in accordance with the client's requirements. All factory processes are documented and all staff are aware of the critical nature of the fabrication procedures.
The welders have been coded by the South African Institute of Welding in procedures governing all critical welds on the structures.
The company currently employs 5 graduate engineers to over see the design and production processes. Two of these are Professional Engineers with the senior designer working on his Ph.D.
