Lattainer Equipment Shelter Reticulation

We have reticulated our Lattainer for the DMC system. In order to change to a SRLA system, we either change the transmission rack or use adapter plates on the existing installation. Our radios and rack configurations are 2/2/2/ @ 40 amps. This can be upgraded to 3/3/3 @ 68 amps etc. Also 2 Omni @ 24 amps. We use between one and six radios but usually use two. On the 2/2/2 setup we use 4 modules one being standby. Our batteries are 100 amp/hour but do go up to 150 amp/hour.

Because of our Lattainer size they are versatile enough to accommodate most networks. They are used for Omni and dual band Transmission sites.

Although the above description is an example of possible layouts, the Lattainer Shelter can be reticulated for most requirements. Our unique feature is that we install the AMF (Automatic Mains Failure) Board, AC Board and automatic change over switch. We use a PLC as the main controller in the AMF. This means that the AMF is generic. It can be programmed to talk to most generator sets.
