TRICOM has a structure
for most applications within the GSM / Microwave spectrum. All structures
use common components and it is there fore simple to assemble a specific
structure for delivery within a very short period.
Towers are available in light, medium and heavy applications up to heights
of 120m in 2m intervals.
All towers may be hand rigged and no cranes are required. This is especially
important when installing towers in out lying areas where crane costs may
prove expensive.
Common features to TRICOM angular towers are:
- Internal climbing
ladder for added safety.
- Pause platforms
to customer specified intervals.
- All components
are pre-punched with attachment holes for additional platforms and antennas
if required at a later stage.
- No reworking of
steel required.
- Interchangeable
modular components across tower ranges.
- Angle components
lend to strengthening of structure at a later stage if excessive loading
is applied.
- Choice of various
foundation designs viz.Raft, Individual pad, Anchor type.

In addition to the above the following also complies with:

- VODACOM Specification Issue 2: January 1997.
Designs are checked against European, Australian and American standards
